On May 14, the China-Germany business roundtable, jointly hosted by Jumore and the Federal Republic of Germany’s Trade and Investment Agency (GTAI), was held in Jumore’s Beijing office. German federal economic and energy state secretary and vice minister H.E. Mr. Christian Hirte attended the meeting, as well as numerous business leaders from all over Germany. During the roundtable, Jumore Chairman Mr. Lu Hongxiang engaged in friendly discussion with the attendees on multiple topics, including the China-Germany digital economy bridge, deepening economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, and how the two countries can invest in German enterprises through digital platforms.
Germany is one of Jumore’s most important countries of cooperation in Europe. Jumore has always attached great significance to the economic and trade cooperation with Germany. Through the digital model, Jumore has continuously created new development opportunities for German enterprises and fostered the growth of China-Germany cooperation. The roundtable aims to help Chinese and German enterprises learn about investing in Germany, while also furthering the digitalization process of China-Germany economic and trade cooperation through Jumore’s digital platform, hoping to realize mutually beneficial and win-win results for the economies of the two countries.
H.E. Mr. Christian Hirte, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, and Mr. Lu Hongxiang, Chairman of Jumore, delivered speeches at the meeting.H.E. Mr. Christian Hirte stated that China is becoming a major player in the global digital market and has created large number of successful stories in this emerging field. As Europe's largest information and communication technology (ICT) market, Germany has long been a leading force in the ICT field, which owns the unique landscape of intelligent industry and the new generation of start-ups in different fields. Mr. Lu Hongxiang stated that, Jumore, as a global digital supply chain platform, has established a digital trading network covering 157 countries and regions around the world, with more than 1.2 million registered corporate users and a database of 60 million companies worldwide.
Vice minister H.E. Mr. Christian Hirte expressed his appreciation and recognition for Jumore’s business model, stating that Jumore can facilitate further cooperation between Chinese and German enterprises. He also hopes that more German companies will become active members on Jumore’s trade platform, to further expand the Chinese and international market, deepen China-Germany bilateral economic and trade cooperation, and achieve mutual economic prosperity.
