On 26th April, during the second session of “Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation” held in Beijing, Jumore Chairman Mr. Lu Hongxiang met with a delegation led by H. E. Asset Issekeshev, executive director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Mr. Lu and Mr. Issekeshev engaged in an in-depth and friendly dialogue with regard to how Jumore’s global supply chain digital platform facilitates economic cooperation among China, Kazakhstan, and other central Asian countries. Both sides shared the common aspiration to establish a solid partnership and develop long-term, efficient and mutually beneficial cooperation.

At the meeting, Mr. Lu and Mr. Serik Nugerbekov, Chairman of the Kazakhstan ULE G-Global International Secretariat, signed a cooperation MOU on further deepening China-Kazakhstan economic and trade ties, as well as expanding Belt and Road digital cooperation. According to the MOU, the two sides will synergize their respective advantages and expertise to jointly speed up the digital course of the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. At the same time, they will collaborate on constructing a Kazakhstan supply chain digital platform, which will contribute to upgrading the position of Kazakhstan in global supply chain and strengthening the bilateral trade between Kazakhstan and China, as well as the rest of the world.

Kazakhstan represents China's "first stop" to central Asia and an important node country along the "Belt and Road". In 2016, the former Prime Minister of Kazakhstan H. E. Sagintayev visited Jumore and met with Chairman Lu Hongxiang. The two sides reached consensus as to how to deepen China-Kazakhstan trade and economic cooperation by leveraging Jumore’s digital platform. Jumore was later invited by Prime Minister H.E. Sagintayev for a visit to Kazakhstan, which paved the way for jointly exploring new economic growth model by digital means.

According to the recent statement of H.E. Mr Nazarbayev at the second session "Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation", the "Belt and Road" initiative and Kazakhstan’s "G-Global" concept match up well with each other. Jumore believes that the signing of the cooperation MOU will further strengthen the friendship between the two nations and deepen China-Kazakhstan economic and trade cooperation. The agreement will lead the way to a new digital paradigm for the growth of China-Kazakhstan economic and trade relations and foster the high-quality development of "Belt and Road" initiative.
