An Indonesian delegation of 17 people headed by Indonesian Ambassador H. E. Mr. Djauhari Oratmangun, including H. E. Mr. Andi Maulana, vice President of Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal Republik Indonesia (BKPM), and representatives from famous Indonesian companies visited JUMORE on September 27. They conducted in-depth discussion with JUMORE chairman Eric Lu on such issues as promoting the development of digital economy, cooperation in e-commerce, and trade and economic growth through innovation.

As a great example of developing countries and emerging economies, Indonesia has registered an annual growth rate of around 5 per cent over the past years. China-Indonesian ties are developing fast thanks to concerted efforts made by all circles of societies in the two countries. As of 2017, China has been Indonesia’s largest trading partner for 7 consecutive years. In 2017, two-way trade volume increased by 18.3 per cent year-on-year, hitting USD63.3bn, in which, Indonesia’s exports to China was up 33 per cent, all this contributes to a more balanced bilateral trade. Ambassador H. E. Mr. Djauhari speaks highly of JUMORE model, and has paid two visits to JUMORE since taking office in this March, playing to promote cooperation between JUMORE and companies and institutions from Indonesia. Ambassador H. E. Mr. Djauhari said that, Indonesia and China both have a thriving digital economy, which gives the two sides great space for cooperation, in this regard, JUMORE can play a role to help Indonesian companies explore Chinese market with its digital platforms, he hopes for deeper exchange and broader cooperation between JUMORE and Indonesian companies.
During the meeting, Chairman Eric Lu introduced to attendees the strategic positioning, business model of JUMORE, and the fields in which JUMORE and Indonesian companies can cooperate. Eric Lu said, as a digital platform serve the whole industrial chains and provide services throughout processes, JUMORE can not only play a part in boosting the digital transformation of Indonesian companies, but also carry out comprehensive cooperation with various industries. At the same time, “Made-in-China” products and “Chinese Brands” can align swiftly with Indonesian market.
During the event, many an Indonesian companies expressed strong interest in JUMORE model, and hope for stronger resource integration and win-win development.
