Colombian ambassador visited JUMORE to promote comprehensive Sino-Latin American exchanges and cooperation

On June 21st, Colombian ambassador to China Oscar Rueda and commercial counselor at the Colombian embassy in China led a delegation to visit JUMORE and conducted in-depth exchanges on issues on strengthening cooperation between Chinese and Colombian enterprises and giving full play to the role of "bridge" of JUMORE in boosting innovation-driven development of Sino-Latin American trade.

Colombia is the fourth largest economy in Latin America, it is rich in natural resources, and mineral resources such as coal, petroleum, and emeralds. In recent years, cooperation between China and Colombia and other Latin American countries has deepened, especially there are great potential for cooperation in energy, agriculture, and infrastructure construction. As a platform that covers the whole industry chain and provides comprehensive services, JUMORE can serve as an important window for Colombia and even Latin American countries to promote advantageous industries and enterprises, thereby further promoting the diversified cooperation between Chinese enterprises and Latin American companies.

In the meeting, Lu Hongxiang, chairman of JUMORE, introduced the latest business development of JUMORE to the Colombian ambassador, and stated that JUMORE plans to set up a company in Latin America to further promote the cooperation between JUMORE and Latin American countries and realize the localization of business operations. In addition, through its advantages in resources and supply chain , JUMORE can further strengthen the communication between Chinese and Colombian enterprises and promote its comprehensive cooperation in the fields of centralized commodity procurement, digital trade, finance, and technology.

Speaking of this, ambassador Rueda said that China and Colombia had signed an investment protection agreement ten years ago. JUMORE is very welcome to invest  and set up companies in Colombia. Colombia will give strong support for this. In addition, Rueda expressed that he hopes that JUMORE and the Pacific Alliance can also strengthen cooperation and achieve win-win development.
